The Japanese accreditation has come at a time when Indoco's Goa plant is seeing adverse observations from UK-MHRA and USFDA.
Indoco has informed that it's API plant at Patalganga has received accreditation renewal from the Japanese Regulatory Authorities. This Accreditation is valid until May 21,2023.
This is a positive news for the company which has seen regulatory pressure mounting on its Goa plants. The UK drug regulator, UK-MHRA issued 3 critical and 4 major observations at its Goa drug manufacturing facility (Goa – plant I) in March 2018. Earlier, USFDA hammered three units at Goa plant with observations and warning letters.
